On the other hand, excessive time under pressure can cause yellowing, fabric distortion, or adhesive bleeding. Most interlinings fuse well between 10 to 18 seconds. It’s important to test and fine-tune dwell time in combination with temperature and pressure. Changing one element without adjusting the others often results in failure.
